Who am I, why am I doing this?
I am a journaling, goal setting, self evaluating pole dancer with a love for the gym. Being full time employed, building a business and freelancing in gyms all at the same time helped me develop mad prioritisation skills. Including journaling into my diary gave me clarity in my mind as well as in hours of the day, and now it’s part of my routine,
I have been teaching pole for 4 years, and in gyms for 2. I’m Level 2 Strength and Conditioning qualified, awaiting my PT course. This allows me to combine the science of targeted training from my strength and conditioning, with the enthusiasm of group exercise and my never ending love of pole training of all disciplines. In 2020 I also passed Xperts Science of Heels and Bendy Kate’s Advanced Stretching Technique Instructor Training.
I’ve spent years navigating and battling the toxic fitness industry. Loving the gym but hating its toxic motivations for so many people. I love pole because it helps people shed those bullshit body image views. I wanted to create a chance to combine the power house of personal growth that is pole, with the mental and physical adaptations that come from a great, well intentioned exercise programme. One which schedules dance days and sexy sessions with rest days and leg days. One where a percentage of your money supports small business owners, peoples passions and good causes. Do the good stuff, save yourself, and maybe the world, a little bit at a time! - Sarah
This is not a new year, new me get abs in 6 weeks and splits in 12 days kinda programme. It won’t be an exercise routine printed on a PDF for you to guilt trip yourself into 4 times a week. Once you take the decision to become a member, you better buckle in.
We’re going to dive deep into what pole means to you, what’s been holding you back.
I’m not going to promise you’ll achieve that bird of paradise, but what I will promise is that you’ll gain a whole new understanding of your time at pole. You’ll know and understand how every exercise benefits you. You’ll know how to measure your progress, so you can ditch exercises that you hate which serve no purpose. Your sessions will be so condensed and precise that you’ll have enough energy left to dance and enjoy! We will review ‘setbacks’, see them as a chance to grow, appreciate your strengths and move towards an ‘every session is a win’ mindset.
